An in-depth conversation about the modding scene [strong language]

well one thing, they are wondering why bethesda would say “no curation” … i think part of it is that,
i seen the chivalry game, you can make items for it and get 25percent cut from it, But they have to accept it,
sooo… waste time making a nice looking 3d model and texture, and then they just dismiss it… waste of time, i seen since january some items still waiting to be approved… i thought maybe i should give it a try initially, but no… its just a waste of time.

now, with skyrim… yeah it would be nice to make money making mods, ive made some mods for skyrim,
mods add soooo much value to the core game, really the devs of games should be paying modders, not customers… and for them to want 75percent is ridiculous its like

its really just like:
“waste time and make us money kids!!.. and we’ll throw you some change i guess”

modders make great additional content, alot of the time better than the devs do… modders cut into DLC selling, and so to attack that, steam went out with this move.

lol ive been making some money(relatively little… maybe $2000) since 2011 with my skyrim mods, and steam or beth never seen any of it lols

Can you link me some of your mods that made you most money?
