Android: Editor build JAVA issue link broken in issue tracker

Below is a known issue listed in build notes for Unity 2021.3.4

  • Android: Editor is unable to find JAVA when building an application (UUM-2106)

However, clicking the link is broken and the latest version Unity 2021.3.5 has no mention of the known issue above.

Just wondering what happened to the issue above as it’s an issue I run into quite often and would like for it to be resolved.

asked about broken link internally, something’s probably wrong with our internal tracker migration.

As for the issue itself, it’s not a new issue, it’s been there for a while, but we never been able to reproduce this on our side. We created this issue internally, so we can apply a blind fix, which hopefully will resolve JAVA issue. The fix is still in progress to land, that’s why it appears in Known Issues.
