Android Gamepad Not Working

Please Help. I’m racking my brain trying to get my Logitech usb gamepad to work with GoogleVR on an Android phone. I know its working as I’ve played other VR games using it, but when I create my own project it will not work. I can even get the controller to work on my computer to test the process but no luck when I build onto the phone. If anyone knows of a step by step process any help would be appreciated. I apologize if there’s already a thread explaining this, I’m not sure if I’m not asking the right question or not but I can’t seem to find a process that works. Is it possible I need a different gamepad? I’m using a wired Logitech PS3 controller using the micro USB onthego adapter. My phone is a Moto X with the latest android build. I have very basic programming skills.

When you say GoogleVR do you mean specifically mean Cardboard or Daydream?

Cardboard

Looks like it may have just been my joystick. I purchased a Steele Stratus XL Bluetooth controller and after playing with the settings I got it to work.

hey, I’m having similar issues with gearVR and /cardboad. everything works perfectly on t he PC, but when i port to the phone (samsun s7) the control schema gets wonky. can i ask what settings you tweaked?
