Android il2cpp just downloaded r10e, ndk version not recognized

on android, my partially completed game’s sound has atrocious latency. i was told by another developer locally that changing to il2cpp might help. when i tried using it, it said it couldn’t find the ndk…no big deal: it has a nifty download button on it! a couple minutes later, it won’t recognize the download as the ndk. is there something i’m missing? currently using 5.3.1f1 personal on os x 10.11.3.

so…bright guy that i am, i didn’t realize i needed to extract the contents of the extracted contents of the downloaded zip file. 2 layers of packaging…and now it crashes at start. not supported indeed. is there going to be any sort of fix for the android sound lag issue? it seems to be well known. i’ve tried a couple 3rd party fixes with similar or worse results to this. i understand that i haven’t paid a penny for this tool yet, but this sound problem is unacceptable. i’m thinking about to writting my own engine again because of this. i really don’t want to, but i’m now seriously considering it.
