[Android][Indie] Cosmic Jetpack

I’ve been developing apps, software, and games for about 4 years now in C# and Java and I finally decided to actually publish something instead of scrapping it because I’m happy with how it came out!

In the game you play as different characters and try to dodge satellites and ufos to try to achieve the highest score possible!

Being only a 15 year old indie developer it would be greatly appreciated if I could get some feedback… Thanks!

Here’s a link to the Google Play App: link

Congrats for the release and good luck with your game!

Consider uploading a gameplay video to your google store page. As developers we sometimes don’t have time to play every new game released but can provide ‘some’ feedback from watching a gameplay video.
Also - videos are common so if you are not providing a gameplay video - there are several games similar to your game that DO provide a video. They provide better marketing than just images to any person who visits the store page. If a person visits the store page and can not ‘see’ how the game plays they move on to another game that is similar to yours that does provide a video and download that one instead.
When providing a video a player feels like the creators put in more effort to promote there game. Naturally they will select those games that do have videos over games that do not.
You might loose some downloads due to people passing on your game because they don’t like what they see in the video, but you do not want those download numbers anyway, because they are not people who would play your game for more than 2-3 minutes total.

Feedback from the images:
It looks like you are using the player character as the icon and also the main menu visual asset. Consider showing something else during the menu, or rotating/swapping out models. Make it a little dynamic.
I can’t tell from the images but it looks like the player character does not have physics/ragdoll physics on him. Adding this to the player character would enhance the visual feedback and provide more appeal to the movement of the character which is the core mechanic of the game.
It would look really cool to see the characters arms and legs lagging behind the characters movement and reacting to how the player moves the character via physics/ragdoll physics.
