This thing is cool, I’m ordering one.

I REALLY REALLY hope unity adds a Linux ARM compilation option.

I am waiting for mine to arrive - I was hoping that it might be possible to deploy Unity builds to this platform. These are the specs for teh quad tht I ordered but I have not looked into whether Unity Andriod support would be compatible?

  • Freescale i.MX6Quad, 4 x ARM® Cortex™-A9 core @ 1GHz with ARMv7A instruction set
  • GPU Vivante GC 2000 for 3D + Vivante GC 355 for 2D (vector graphics) + Vivante GC 320 for 2D (composition)

Wonder why Unity doesn’t support ARM based Linux builds… it certainly supports ARM platforms, as does Mono.

Jolla’s Sailfish OS (a continuation of Meego/Fremantle) has an Android emulation layer. I wonder if they’ll open source it or make it publicly available for other Linux ARM distributions.

Got my Quad Core - Once they straighten out the Android MicroSD image card size I plan to try a build for Android.
