Android notifications

I’ve got an Android user that requested I make the app show in his notifications window so whenever he goes out of the app instead of having to try and find it again he can simply re-launch it from the notifications area. I do NOT have an android device so I’m not even 100% sure what he is referring to.

Can anyone provide any insight on what I need to do to accommodate this? Currently I don’t have any special settings for Android or iOS anywhere I just simply deploy the application.
