Android Project: Rasta Rush

I am currently working on my finial year project for my creating computer game design course in Swansea University.
my assignment is to create a video game on my own to help showcase my skills I have developed from the course.

For the game I chose to go for a 2.5D platform game but wanted to add a twist, the twist is that you do not control the player. the player is constantly walking through the level and you must clear hazards that are in the way so he can reach the end of the level.

I am currently about 5 months into the development of this game, the majority of the game is complete at this stage. the coding is all finished apart from some minor tweaks here and there through the rest of the development.
The modelling and texturing is mostly complete, with all the main set pieces finished, only finishing touches are needed.

The game is currently being developed for Android and is running on an Archos 70 internet tablet in the test video below.

Below is a video of the beta stage of my game to show how it is progressing, please feel free to leave any comments, criticisms or ideas as i would really appreciate some honest opinions.

lol i could smoke a joint and play dis all day long mon!

yaa mon… looks great mate, only thing i see wrong or could be better is the seem lines on the terrain, pretty hard to do when u got so many different pieces but one way is to just save the left and right parts of the first texture and repasts them onto all others that line up with it so as the centers are different but the seems are seemless, also adjusting the smoothing groups to separate the sides from the front of the tiles might help reduce the seem line, other than that looks great, think i got the gameplay down from the vid interesting lemmings like game. Good job mate.

Cheers for the advice, yeah getting the terrain to line up is quite tricky, textures still need abit of tweaking here and there. will definitely look into the smoothing groups see if i can do some adjusting there to get some better results. glad you guys like it. I wanted to keep the game play as simple as possible so its something you can just pick up and play with out a steep learning curve.
