Android vibration

Now I know the iPhone has this feature (with the iPhoneUtils.Vibrate), but does Android have it too?

By the way, I’m using a Galaxy S.

Yep, same function activates it.

Thanks, Beezir.

If you want to use more proficiently Android native SDK vibrations (short, patterns etc…) check this out:

There is also a free vibration plugin from Immersion called the Haptic Plugin for Unity that has a library of 124 pre-made vibe effects to choose from. Devs like Rockstar Games, Sega, Konami and even Handy Games are using this libary in their Android games.

You can preview the effects by downloading the free Haptic Effect Preview app from Google Play.

If you use the free plugin and have comments for further development, let them know at HapticsDev@immersion.com

Hey guys,

I’ve seen a lot of Plugins with different Vibration types. But, di you know by chance if there’s some way to check if there’s the Vibration SUpport on Unity ?

Only this post says something :

Cheers,
