Angle in degrees

I want detect specific angle to play function. Angles is default in radians right?

Example:
//print 0.707… if angle in degrees is 45°
var angle : float = gameObject.transform.rotation.z;

So, my question is, if my z-rotation is raised from 0 to 360 and i want detect 45° degrees???
This does not work to me:
if(gameObject.transform.rotation.z >= Mathf.Asin((angleZ*180)/Mathf.PI))

That’s because gameObject.transform.rotation is a quaternion. See the docs Unity - Scripting API: Transform.rotation

If you’re dealing with angles, you want
gameObject.transform.rotation.eulerAngles.z
