Animate single faces of a Mesh

Hello!

I work with Maya to make some 3d models that I later import in unity. While moving some faces of my model I’ve noticed that would make an awesome animation for my game: how could I animate single faces in Unity?

You can bake the animation in Maya to a point cache file and use something like MegaFiers that can playback such animations, or use blendshapes in Maya and use the morphing system included in the system.
