Our name is Adventure Forge Studio and we are new to the asset store!
(And super excited to be here)
We just wanted to give a quick shout out to the community that we just released our first 2 asset packs. 1 Wolf and 1 Deer, both fully animated and prepped for Unity 4 and 5.
Both have full set of textures for Unity 4 and 5.
Unity4: Diffuse+Specular and cutout in Alpha and Normal map.
Unity5: Albedo, Specular, Roughness, Normal, Ambient Occlusion and Emission.
The prefabs are all set up with animations split up.
Hi.
Thanks for the feedback. We are on it and are going to try to get the wolf to look meaner.
We are planning on adding another texture too to try and compliment an angrier look.
We’ll add it as a separate wolf in the package and hopefully have it updated shortly
Sketchfab preview of the upcoming update to our wolf.
The package will contain the old model as well as the new one.
We also added 4 new textures for more variety.
The deer looks nice, but I feel the run animation is not quite right.
Here is a good slo-mo template (from 0:10 on):
The run animation looks as if the deer was just climbing up like in the YouTube video where the deer just left the river and climbs up and then speeds up.
The current animation does not look like a full run.
Also, I wish wish for more back muscle movement to make the animation more natural.
But already a very nice work done! And THANK YOU for caring about the standard shader in Unity 5. I think you do, judging by the maps that you provide.
The updated Wolves pack has been sent in for review. So it should be up and running in a week I guess.
As for the deer, our animator is working on a full sprint animation that will be added as a new clip at the end. This is to make sure the original clip structure stays the same.
Hi. Thanks for your interest and for noting that the demo is not longer working. We’ll get right on it and look at options on how to best showcase both the wolf and the deer.
We’ve updated the OP with new Sketchfab preview that show off the complete animation cycle, since the old web player is being discontinued by all browsers. All in all this better shows off the model and the animations
