I made a simple cube in Maya and selected on vertex and saved a key. I then move to time 30 and moved the vertex and saved a key. I saved the file as an .mb.
I imported the cube into Unity and tried to play the animation but there is no animation to be seen in Unity.
How can I animate vertex in Unity?
Unity only supports bone-based vertex animation.
SO the only shape animation must be done by using bones?
I have an area I want to appear to pull apart and open a hole.
I’ve tried it using two cubes placed next to each other and I animate the verts to create a hole in the surface. There must be another way.
