Animation / Audio

I know that audio is somewhat framerate independent. If the game starts chugging along at 12 fps, the audio generally stays on time. Does animation play every frame regardless of framerate, or does it skip over frames to keep time? The reason I ask is that I plan on compiling some lengthy animation clips that have accompanying audio and I’m wondering if the audio and animation will get out of sync on slower devices when the framerate drops.

Animation maintains proper timing despite variable framerate, you should be fine.
