Animation Changes between 4.1 and 4.3?

Here’s a dumb question :
In 4.1 you could apply an animation directly to a mesh, and you would see it in the properties panel, and you could adjust the loop and AutoPlay properties.

Now when you apply an animation it creates an Animator, and I’m not sure how to turn off the various properties and how to control the animation through my script.

When importing the model, on the Rig tab choose Legacy. This will put the old legacy Animation component back on your object rather than Mecanim’s Animator component.

Or switch over to Mecanim and enjoy a whole new world of different challenges. :slight_smile:
