Animation doesn't play in the center of the object

I am making a top-down rpg zelda-style for my college. All enemy animations are fine but I just added a death animation to the enemy and instead of it playing where the enemy is, it always plays at a specific offset away from the enemy (upwards+right). Any help?

Found it! The problem was with the sprite. I had sliced it with a custom pivot so the pivot was not in the center!
