Animation Editor is broken

I gotta ask. How much beta testing did the testers do with the animation editor? I open the editor and everything looks perfectly fine…right up until I actually start using it.

I created an animation where I animated two texture offset values in two separate materials. I had trouble with various parts of the editor, such as random objects in the animation editor being selected or deselected when hitting the record button, the play button randomly scaling the curve view when you turned it off, and other things.

But what got me was when I made my animation curves linear like I want, and for some reason the animation plays as if it was using ease in/out curves. I checked the animation curves and they are in fact linear. WTF?

Clearly the animation editor needed more time in the oven. For me anyway. Is anyone else having these problems?

I’ve no problems with it actually. Testwise created a small camera flythrough to see how well it works and aside of my own stupidity all worked

I would guess that something from your regular desktop end is interfering or that you have an editor script that is going funky and fighting with the animation editor.

Well, I just restarted the engine, and everything just magically worked in my animation clip and the animation editor started working again. Should have tried that sooner like most people would have done.

Grr…I hate it when I’m dumb.

Anyway, apart from some odd (but by no means a show stopper) quirks, this animation editor is potentially groundbreaking and I’ll be making extensive use of it in my later games.
