Hello, I’m trying to get a certain function to fire at a certain key frame in the animation window. I followed all the instructions from the examples but for some reason the select function window opens then immediately closes so I never get a chance to select a function … when I move the mouse over the event I added I get “no function selected”. I can’t delete the event after adding it either. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks,
Paul
Solved … I did a search in the community and came up with a hint. It seems when you load in an animated model and the animations are set to read only … you have to duplicate the clip. I couldn’t figure out how to get only the actual “clip” I wanted to fire off the event at, I was able to select the animation asset and just duplicate it from the edit menu which gave me a new animation asset … with the same name … but this new animation was EDITABLE. I was able to overwrite the old “read only” animation and add the events I spoke of. Cool !!.
Thank you, man. That helped me a lot.
