Animation from DAZ 3D 4.5 to Unity

Guys,

I’ve created a char + animation in DAZ 3D 4.5, exported as .fbx… ok… but its animation is not working when I import it into Unity.
The char itself is there but without any movement :frowning:

How is the right process to make this work?

Thanks

What are you using to animate your character in DAZ Studio? If you are using Aniblocks, you need to bake them to keyframes and that requires the Pro version of Animate. Other than that, check all your settings to make sure you have checked the correct export boxes.

Hi drew, thanks for your reply.

Well, when you say aniblocks you’re referring to animate2 plug-in animate system? if so, yes, I’m using it…

Where can I download Animate Pro?

Sorry, using outdated info. Still using 1 myself so I had to open it and see. I guess the plug in is standard now. Anyway, to bake them to keyframes, right click somewhere in the gray space of the Animate 2 tab and select Bake to Studio Keyframes and it should be able to export the animations.

You probably already know this, but if you plan on distributing any games with DAZ models, you need to have their game license. Nothing stopping you from making them for personal use though.
