all of ver unity2019.3.x all thing is very slow(more than slowly befor verion very terrible)
not only animation import but also create new c# script, change script, enter play mode
Is it true that any programmer who optimizes the editor has compared the new version in front of everyone???
Gonna confirm, this is super-bad, though it’s happening in 2019.2 as well. I’m looking at an old project updated from Unity 5 to Unity 2019, and boy oh boy is the animation list just a lag nightmare. I might try to get a bug repro on that.
Which version of Unity are you comparing against? i.e. which versions have the problem and which do not?
Also, like Leonhard says, please, please, please submit a bug report with one of the FBX files that causes the issue. We do have a huge performance regression test suite, but clearly we we’re missing coverage somewhere.
