animation tutorial - 1st or 3rd person

Hi,

I have looked at the animation tutorial and although there are three examples in it, there is no tutorial with it. Does anybody know if there is an animation tutorial with 1st or 3rd person which walks you through what needs to be done?

I am particularly looking to detect collision for FPS.

Thanks. I did look there. may be I missed it, but I didnt see how the collision detection can be applied to a FPS. I was looking for a worked up example to do this.
