Animation using avatar mask is affected by pelvis

Hi,
I am using avatar mask to blend 2 animations. One is running left/right, another one is shooting. In the running animation, the up body is rotated by the pelvis node. But the shooting animation’s up body is not rotated. Which means the pelvis node in the two animations are different. Then the problem is the upbody using shooting pos will rotated by the pelvis of the running pos if I left the root of the mask “red”. Otherwise the rotation of the down body is wrong if I set the root of the mask “green”.
Any ideas? are we using the avatar mask wrong way?

After discussing with our animators. We found we did the wrong way. We should keep the transform of root bones the same in the 2 animations.
