Animations in Unity vs 3d Studio?

Hi,

I am developing an Android Game, and I have no idea which one is better: to import the model and animations from 3d studio (or another 3d software) to Unity, or in the other hand, just import the model, and do all the animation in Unity.

I would appreciate some advice

The animation tools in Unity are super young… They’re best used for basic camera movements or simple object animation. 3D Max, Xsi or Maya are much better suited to character animation.

It depends on your pipeline, if you’re a good animator in 3D Max, stick to it.
