Animator instead of animation

PLz help me guyz i m following a tutorial of brackeys (make a survival game) and in part 3 he just clicks on window and selects animation and saves it by clicking on red button and in the inspector menu an animation component gets added but when i do the same an animator component gets selected and so i cant proceed plz help me guyz

How exactly did this get through moderation?

you can remove the animator component and add new animation component. then drag the newly created animation from project window into it.
