another Asset Store Issue

Hi,
I found a few similar posts but they were all at least a few weeks old and resolved, figured it’s time for a new one.

I haven’t been able to browse the asset store for going on a week now, all I get is a blank page and the following error:

Kind of a shame to because I’d like to add some thing to it.

I already emailed support this monday, I’ll probably get a answer within the next 2-3 days. Mean time is any one else having this issue? Or is there any thing I can do to fix it on my end? I found a related question here: http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/120906/asset-store-problems.html but that solution doesn’t help me. (I’m on a mac, and I can’t find the mac equivalent of that directory.)

Should I report a bug on this as well, or just wait and see?

Just got a letter from support saying they aren’t having this issue, and to file a bug report if I still am. I just did.

But, I just tried it on my desktop and it works! (Didn’t do that before because that tower isn’t exactly well built/easy to get going/reliable.) but what could possible be on my computer that is preventing this from working?

I’m on a 2009 Macbook Pro on wireless internet. The tower was tethered through the ethernet to my laptop for internet and it worked.

Ah, just got it. Once I saw my tower on I knew it had to be some thing I did.

Cause: I’d blocked ajax.googleapis.com in my host file. I did it a while ago, forgot I even did it.
