Another unity white window opens when i open my project

Basically, I’ve made my unity project and when I open it I come up with this:

the window is completely white and they are 2 separate windows. Yes, the white window does have minimize, exit and maximise but if I exit it will close the whole project!

any help?

I was having this. Fixed it by reverting to the default layout.
Window>layouts>reset all layouts/revert factory settings
