[Answered] Does 2021 fall under the new "pay per downloads"?

Their new policy on paying a fee for each download after x, does that effect 2021 builds?

No, only Unity 6 ones.

I’m amazed this question keeps getting asked.

It’s pretty clearly covered by Unity: Changes to Unity plans and pricing

Why did you comment on a [Answered] post?

Doesn’t magically prevent me from posting.

Why didn’t you do even a tertiary google search for this question? This very question has been answered a dozen times over on this subforum.

And apparently it’s the Unity 6 non beta and non preview. The current beta will be called preview once it leaves beta. Full 6 release will be towards the end-ish of the year.

I asked the question because in the last 5 months their pricing structure has changed multiple times. Even on their official site and wanted to make sure.

There’s no reason to add to a post that’s already been answered, other than to be condescending.

Don’t you have some bad advice to give somewhere, like download Odin for Json serializing?

How many times did you google “Does odin serialize json”

I think this is a case of ‘tit for tat’.

I made a mistake on your post. Get over it mate.

Nah mate, it’s a case that you don’t really know what you’re talking about then jump in an answered post to give your two cents and act like “It’s pretty clearly covered”.

This is what comes up when you google “Unity pricing structure” (does this look like it’s “covered”?):

So, stop acting like a smart ass, especially when you don’t know basics like what serializing Json is.

Well apparently you’re not allowed to make a mistake on the internet. Nor admit you were wrong. Every has to be a perfect little princess, aye?

And maybe if you use a search engine that doesn’t throw advertisements in your face you’d get better search results. Duck Duck Go gives me the previous link. Maybe scroll down and you might see it.

Right, we’ve known for months now that “Unity 6” is the LTS and “Unity 6 Preview” is the third TECH release.

Do you guys know how search engines work?

The exact same lad said, “Doesn’t magically prevent me from posting”, but has a hissy fit when someone asks a question on his forum.

Mate, grow up and move on, you’ve wasted enough of my time with having me chase Odin, no one needs you being condescending on an answered post.

Yes, that’s why I provided you with images. To show you how to do it properly.

So, you see how my results are different than yours? It doesn’t sound like you know how they work, you know with all that targeting and whatnot.

Yes, I’m not surprised considering you misspelled “Unity’s” and used “effect” when the correct word here is “affect”. It may seem like I’m being a grammar nazi but the truth is a search engine is much more picky than people realize.

Let me know when you learn how NLP works.

Then use a search engine that doesn’t like Duck Duck Go. You’re a big boy power user aren’t you?

Imagine being a person that tells someone to use a tool that has nothing to do with what they asked THEN telling them what browser to use, all from an answered post.

Mate, it’s a little pathetic, you’re beginning to become a joke.

Jog on, do something with your time.

@ can we lock this post, I don’t need juniors arguing with me telling me what browsers I should be using.
