This isn’t a specifically a 5.0 problem, but the 5.0 default settings (forward rendering, MSAA on, high-contrast directional lighting) do seem to make an old issue particularly obvious now - shadows don’t play nicely with multisampling:
Obviously, deferred shading with MSAA is problematic, but are there any plans to make shadows+MSAA work better together for the forward rendering path?
