Any decent, free svn repo's?

So, 3 of my friends and I are going to start a project soon and I am currently trying to setup source control. I have a godaddy server and that appears to be useless for this.

Anyone knows of any free sites that can be used for this? Or a good site to try and setup one of my windows boxes as a SVN server.

Thanks. And I hope I have this in the right area.

You can setup a Vault and use that, only down side is that if you share the admin user / password, you all have exclusive check in and check out and can get confusing. It is only free for single user though, sharing your admin login is not recommended but possible, and this is a cheap team solution.

Such a very amazing link!

Don’t know about free but dreamhost has unlimited bandwidth etc for $10 or less depending on the plan with one click SVN, also TRAC but I haven’t used that. Sometimes they have special offers which give you $10 hosting for a whole year. Usually around the time of a US world championship sporting event. Actually, looks like they have a new year deal for $5.99 a month going on now.

I’d use git or mercurial, svn is pretty craptastic. Bitbucket supports both, and it’s free.

Sadly I have dream host so I have my SVN repositories setup there.
SVN is great, as long as you are using tortoise client that integrates with your windows UI.

Good interface, very stable, but only 1 gb in the free version.
