Are you going to make a promotion discount price on the unity packages in december?
I am crazy in love waiting for a little discount to buy your engine…my trial version expired and I already have sent a new trial request for the support.
So you think we don´t deserve a discount?
I am going to buy the standard version because I am really spending a lot of money here with my father ( chemo)!
But as I get more money I´ll definitely buy all pro versions and the android one too!!
I love to code scripts…and as I already worked with torque, unity is very similar in coding…but…even more flexible.
you can also create great 2d game interfaces and change the models to a 3D game interface…COOL.
Well, if they are going to discount it in the near future, I doubt they would tell us in advance - they wouldn’t get many sales between now and the discount
(but I’m also hoping for a discount for Pro soon as I missed the discount during the beta and am now thinking about upgrading my basic license).

with iads + admob + openfeint + gamecenter plugins I´ll have no problems with the basic iOS pack at first, but eventually I´ll buy all pro versions.
A video playback plugin or even just integrating it is trivial (Bliprobs EP offered it since its start for example). But I don’t see how flash would help as it wouldn’t be supported unless you export an iphone profile movie from it
you can make a flash movie and convert it to mp4 or any other extension. But it´s a shame because I am making an horizontal cartoon animated space shooter and that would be Great to have. Of course I could imprt all the frames and create a big MASS object to unity and make my app goes to +30MB or more. Another thing that I really don´t understand about unity is the App file size, my game with initialy2.8MB of assets makes a 20MB app armv6 ( only ) . Tell me something to let users download throught 3G it only can be at max 20MB size , so does it count the unity app or this unity app zipped? my zipped version took 8.9MB, so what is your experience about that? ( using iOS basic of course )
The size of the app isn’t the final size. You zip it, apple unzips it, changes some stuff, and zips (part of it) again. So it will be a little bigger than your zip but smaller than the unzipped app.
