I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but does anyone know of a good website that has free sound effects? I’ve searched several times in the past and all I have found is a couple of free sound effect websites which have terrible quality sounds, and one or two good websites that sell the sound effects. Thanks!

http://www.sounddogs.com: Not free, but generally reasonably priced, and you can select only the part of a sound you want, which can cut the price down even more. http://www.freesound.org: Free, variable quality (which you have to expect for free).

That website is in some bizarre language resembling orcish. Would make it difficult to check licenses, let alone search.
Not for nothin but make sure to read the fine print on where you get the sounds from, sometimes they are free but require you give them credit,
