Hello!
I have a problem, that gives me headache(i don’t know if i pronounced it right) when i try to learn scripting in c# I have bought books and read free online sources but the problem is i don’t understand anything I understand the text but it gets confusing. I know internet is huge and there probs are some tutorials out there that can teach me that but i just can’t find them. I have spent Hundreds maybe even thousends of hours trieng to learn C#. Who knows maybe I should learn basic first maybe? Then move into more advanced languages.
Maybe I should learn JavaScript(UnityScript) instead but i have heard it is not as good as C# since it has so much limits and I guess its better to learn language you are going to use anyway so if i learn javascript and then later C# maybe i get confused is my fear. I got an idea that is not so advanced and stuff but it gives me headache to learn C#.
How much coding are you actually doing?
You can’t learn programming just by reading books or watching video tutorials. Even if you understand what’s happening at the time, those concepts will not stick in your mind the way they do if you are implementing them in code.
For all intents and purposes UnityScript and C# are essentilally the same.
