Any Skybox Generation Tools out there?

I’m looking for a solution that will create Skyboxes. Hopefully something exists that has editable settings, sort of like a Terrain generator, except for Sky instead.

Anyone know of any programs or scripts like this?

I’ve used Terragen and Carrara, but you can also use Cinema4D, Blender, and others.

The best tool Ive used so far for creating skyboxes is Vue Xstream. It costs a lot of money, but is well worth it if youre serious about skyboxes :slight_smile: You can also use the free version of Terragen combined with a skybox script found here :

You can create just as nice skyboxes with this tool, but the free version is limited to 512x512 in size and it takes a lot of tweaking to get good results.
