Is there a tool that will convert a vector file (like AI or EPS) into a flat polygonal object that I can import into Unity? I don’t need the object to have depth, just visible (like a texture on a plane) but vector so it scales better.
3dsmax does, I use 3dsmax to do lay out 2D vector art since the spline drawing tools are more intuitive than adobes tools. Bit strange, but it works really well and I can get things done much quicker and easier.
3ds max loads them ok too.
I was able to import my AI file into 3DS Max, and the the outlines all imported correctly but without the shading. I’m not familiar with using 3DS Max…what tool do I use to add the fills back in? Thanks!
