I would really like to know what their future plans for Linux support are. At least for me, Windows is not a viable option to develop games as it is getting as bad as it can be in all regards. On the other hand, I can’t afford a Mac computer right now. Most major 3D software programs have Linux versions, such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, etc that are widely used in big studios.
The latest Linux Unity Editor works pretty good, give it a try!
Yes, I did and it looks good! I’m looking forward to using it for VR applications. Really hope Unity on Linux goes mainstream.
