Any VS 2013 users switch to VS 2014?

Have you had any problems with VS 2015? I’m downloading VS 2015 Ultimate now, and going to give it a try later tonight, some really nice changes in it.

So what’s nice in the new one that 2013 dosnt have. Since vs2013 + UnityVS + ReSharper is a pretty sweet combo at the moment.

Visual Studio 2014 or 2015? o.o
The title & your post seem to collide xd

What’s new by the way? Cause I’m not sure if I’d like to update.

probably mis-typed since VS2014 isn’t a thing.

VS2015 is still in preview, so I haven’t really bother using it in production (I avoid using early releases in production, I only install them on VMs and explore a little).

@Saxi - if you’re going to do this, you should dl the VS Tools for Unity and test them for compatability. Here’s the 2015 version:

I typo’d the title and I couldn’t’ change it. It is 2015.

The difference is it adds even more Resharper functionality to native Visual Studio.

Adds Quick Fixes
more Refactoring support
debug lambdas
Add smart unit tests
Better git support
I heard it is a bit faster

My biggest interest is the refactoring changes, I don’t own Resharper (may eventually get it, I’ve used it in the past a little) but more and more of it’s functionality is becoming native to VS.

Yeah I already downloaded Unity tools, but I haven’t installed VS yet, but I use them for 2013 and I love it.

Been using VS 2015 for a few days and it works great. The performance boost is nice, but I like the new refactoring changes. Haven’t had time to explore all the new features, but it works great.

VS Tools for Unity 2015 works great as well.
