Any way to block notifications during the game?

Particularly in the middle of a VR game, these are really problematic — they’re unreadable, and at least with my headset, they’re right where the tap button taps. So not only are they blocking my view with unreadable junk, I’m quite likely to tap it and get taken clear out of the game.

Is there any way to suppress these notifications while the game is playing?
