Is there any way to export the default meshes in unity out to max? I’m having trouble getting my models to be the right size on import, I always have to scale them. I want to know how to make them in max the right size so they are right at 1.0 scale, and I think the unity cube or sphere would help if i could import that into max. If I cant, does anyone know of a max scene that has the scales laid out already? Also whats the recommended size of a model that scales correctly to the particle systems?
YES it is 1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter.
be careful when you import the model in to Unity … look for the little-noticed import options
(click on the item in PROJECT panel, and then look to the INSPECTOR panel)
