Any way to fix texture stretching on imprted objects?

Okay i’m a bit new to unity so still learning. The main problem i’m having right now is that when i import an object it severely stretches the texture in certain polys. here’s an example

Looks like a problem with your UV’s… try applying the texture in the modelling program to see if it’s unwrapped properly.

Whoops, completely forgot that step. i’ll be sure to make a note of this so i don’t forget it
