I am actually a biologist and came across an Unity program called anyFish (link below), which is an open source program to create fish animations, that I would really love to use for my research. The problem is that I work with a species of fish called the banded darter that is not available on anyFish (link also below) and I have no idea how to go about adding this model. Has anyone heard of/used anyFish? I would love some insight on what steps I would need to accomplish to create a darter model. I have tried using the pre-existing model to fit my species of interest, but it comes out looking pretty bad. Any help is appreciated!
I haven’t heard of it before, but it seems pretty interesting. It’s pretty specialized, so chances of finding someone here who is familiar with it is pretty slim. Maybe there are forums or newsgroups dedicated to the tool? I did see there is a section on the wiki on how to create new fish.
