Hi
This is the second time this has happened. A project just does not start up even though it started fine just earlier and i made no changes to it between then and now. I press play on a blank scene and it just does nothing been waiting 30 mins now and still the scene hasn’t launched.I can still open other projects so what could cause something like this happen?
I’ve seen it happen, and I can’t say I’ve done anything differently when it happens. Deleting the Library folder has fixed it for me so far.
I agree with orb, delete your Temp and Library folder then reopen the project.
Also definitely use source control if you aren’t so you never lose a project permanently…
Yea im already reimporting but it takes 8 hours to do so a pain. I know i closed down windows while unity was open any way that could cause this?
Yeah. If unity was writing a library file and got interrupted, it might crash when trying to read in the corrupted file later.
