I have a barrel where the transform is default in the middle of the mesh.
Is there a way in Unity I can get it where its at the bottom?
You can make it a child of a empty game object and move it up or just fix it in a 3d modeling program ( blender is free ).
It’s called the origin usually.
Maybe there is this functionality in probuilder ( free package in your package manager ), haven’t tried.
Thanks for the reply
Hate to go the child route cause it wont be consistent with other models.
I’ll try the pro builder route.
I dont have source files to this model.
If you have the mesh in unity you have the source file which can be imported into blender. Probably fbx?
Then again takes about 10 seconds to model something like that.
Ehh I honestly dont want to mess with external model software.
I tried blender and a few others. Huge learning curve. I’m not a artist. Waste of time for me to invest time in it atm. Since my need isn’t great enough to learn it.
I’ll just ditch these barrels find others.
