Anyone try any RPG frameworks/toolkits for 2D?

I have been browsing the assets and their are a lot of framework/toolkits for RPG’s. Does anyone have any experience with using them in a 2D environments (i.e sprites)? What were your thoughts? Any recommendations?

I looked at “2D Action RPG Starter Kit” but it wasn’t quite what I am looking for. Basically are Ork, UniRPG or something similar workable with sprites or is it just not worth the time?

There was one person using Ork to make a 2D rpg.
If you aren’t sure, the best way is to ask them directly in their forums or by emails, as I’m sure they’ll know more about their kit than anyone else.
