Is anybody using VLSky. How does it compare to UniSky.
I’m using it, the performance is much better then Unisky, it only uses roughly 20-25 draw calls with nothing else in the scene. The clouds are just 2d planes stacked on top of each other but it gives a rather nice effect. Its definitely not a pretty as Unisky, but its a heck of a lot easier on the performance. In my case it was more important to me. My only complaint is that you have to set up a second camera in your scene, and set the sky on its own layer and have the second camera render only visky or you end up with this weird effect to where it looks like the clouds are passing threw your level geometry. The authors told me it was due to the internal sorting of transparent polygons in the unity engine. Support is really great! They answered my emails very fast and got me up and running very quickly.
Hello I am using Visky and I have a problem using this asset with Water Pro unity prefab.
When you run your scene reflection/refraction on the water are black, I think that this problem is related to ViSky cloud camera that create problem with water prefab.
Does anybody fixed this problem?
How I can define in water prefab which camera use for reflection/refraction?
