Anyway to lessen the frame buffer

I am trying to collect data on user reflex but because of the buffer, I am getting around a 16ms latency. Is there anyway I am able to shrink the buffer? The user reflex data is collected in milliseconds so I need the buffer to be much less for my data to be accepted. I did read that it is possible on Unity Pro but I wanted to make sure that it is possible before going ahead with the purchase.

Does Screen.SetResolution work for HMDs too? I’m using FOVE
