just before the release of unity 5 we announced the making of Apocalyptic City 3.
since then we have been working on making apocalyptic city 3 to make it stand out from
the rest adding in new feature to give a nice realistic look.
working with unity 5 has allowed us to pre-bake occlusion into every model eliminating the use of image
effect giving us more resources to add huge detail.
the scene below has a total of 273k tris when fully baked giving use abilty on mobile devices such as
Nvidia Shield.
We have also implemented perfect reflections via script to use a real time reflection probe to simulate SSR
without any blur and great usability on open world scenes.
prefabs are are ready to capture perfect reflections on awake.
Below are screens of the work in progress and you feedback and ideas will help us make this
asset even better.
