App crashes after bundle version code increases

My current bundle version is 2.0.0 and the android bundle version code is 18. To publish my game updates, I have to increase the bundle version code.

But when I changed the bundle version code and build the game, the game immediately crashes always.

So I changed back the bundle version code to the previous one, build and run, it works fine. It keeps crashes after I raised the version.

Here’s what I do:

  1. Reboot the dev computer
  2. Reboot the smartphone
  3. Reboot the Unity
  4. Adding “android:allowBackup=“false”” and android:fullBackupContent=“false” in AndroidManifest, tag
  5. Turned off Multithread rendering

None of them worked, it just keeps crash crash, and crash. What am I missing?

Currently, I’m stuck in here and my game can’t be release public. What am I suppose to do?



Hello? I’m stuck here and can’t update my game.

One thing I found is that Clear App Data and run the game works, but rebuild the game and it keeps goes crash.

I tested another android device, and this time it doesn’t crash but it just keeps on the black screen, nothing proceeds. Just like the previous device, clear app data, and run the game works.

Why just raising the version makes this crash & infinite loading issue?
