App crashes on Android Oreo if I remove Portrait Orientation from Player Settings

I am running Unity 2017.3

This problem takes place only on Android Oreo. If I want the Orientation of the game to snap to either Landscape Left or Landscape Right or just limit the auto-rotation to either of them, then the App just won’t launch on the phone.

The game works perfectly fine on phones with older versions of Android.

I also tried to script the orientation to stay on the Landscape modes but the game does not switch to the Landscape modes on Android Oreo.

Any help to fix this problem will be highly appreciated.


I have found a fix for this issue.
I just disabled Preserve framebuffer alpha from the Player Settings under Resolution and Presentation.
