Cool, let us know how you go with that. I’ve tried that avenue without much luck… even managed to have a word with Scott Forstall at the WWDC. If you think Apple is secretive, the iTunes selection committee is another level again. My understanding is that there isn’t any backdoor to the selectors: they review every app that comes in and if they like it, they feature it. Of course it doesn’t hurt to be an ngmoco or EA, but if your game is up to the level set by those guys, it is pretty likely it will get featured.
I’ve come to the conclusion that we just need to make better games and trust that the iTunes selectors will find them. Also, making a lite version and having it get up the charts is the best way to get noticed.
