App store thumbnail

I noticed several games in the app store have the unity logo for the icon/thumbnail.

Is this optional or required by Unity if you haven’t bought the iOS pro? If this is required I would really be annoyed by this, the splash screen is more than enough imo.

It’s not required; generally Apple rejects apps if they have the default Unity icon, so someone must have been not paying attention when approving those.
